When revising content or design, I believe it is proper to do user research beforehand. It's easy to rely on our training and knowledge and assume that we know what should change. Each decision a user experience designer makes must come from hard data. Otherwise, you might waste time and resources discovering things after committing to changes. In this sample, users were polled using the existing website before any decisions were made to make changes. Once the report was written (above), I summarized the data in a slideshow (below) to clearly illustrate the findings. I used Google Docs and Google Slides for these reports.
